As part of the publication of the House of the Future 2024 awards, Buildner features an interview with Brollo Baldo Studio following their second-place recognition. The conversation explores the studio’s vision and its approach to architecture, as well as its perspective on international architectural competitions.

“Everything that surrounds us is architecture; every space we inhabit and everything we perceive has been conceived with intention by someone. To be part of this continuum—where ideas are transmitted across generations and transformed in response to evolving ways of living—is both deeply inspiring and a profound responsibility.”

“We understand the role of the architect as a catalyst for both collective and individual needs, working to enhance the spaces in which life unfolds. Architecture must engage with history, learning from it in order to reinterpret inherited techniques and adapt them to contemporary demands. At the same time, it must remain forward-looking—capable of anticipating future needs, imagining and shaping the environments yet to come.”
