The concept begins with a simple architectural gesture: a cubic volume from which a spherical void is subtracted. This absence becomes the heart of the sculpture: a public majlis, an open space for gathering, resting, ontemplation and collective activity.
Rather than conceiving the work as an object to be observed, the proposal transforms the sculpture into a space that can be inhabited, used and appropriated by the city

The cube establishes a clear and monumental presence, giving equal importance to all four sides. There is no main façade or privileged viewpoint; the sculpture can be approached, traversed and experienced from every direction. Its structure is formed by a continuous modular framework of slender stainless-steel tubes.
This system creates a changing visual effect of transparency, reflections and shadows. As visitors move around and through it, the perception from both inside and outside continuously transforms, revealing and concealing the spherical void. The result is the sensation of discovering a sphere suspended within the cube: a hidden pearl.
